Solutions for a healthier,
sustainable future

HOW WE WORK:
Farmers United of South Africa is a trailblazing farmers’ organization operating on a groundbreaking idea that is aimed at redefining the agricultural landscape of the country. We envisage registering tremendous progress and growth in our members’ agri-businesses that will lead to profitability and commercialization. With this understanding of where we are taking our organisation to, we have identified the need to be as solidly organised from the get go as possible by putting in place structures and processes that will ensure our success.

The diagram below is a representation of how we have structured ourselves and how we aim to operate:

We operate as a Hybrid Model, commonly known as a Social Enterprise. We recognize that as much as farmers are faced with serious challenges that need to be tackled head-on, they also need to remain profitable and to grow their operations. We believe that we can only grow our agri-businesses as black farmers, through coming together and approach the above as a united front.
